History of United Arab Emirates
UAE (United Arab Emirates) is situated in the Persian Gulf; it was under British control from a long time. After the freedom from British control there was contain many small states and in 1971 the founder sheikh Zahid make a one unite called United Arab Emirates.
Saudi Arabia located in the south and in the east located Oman whiles they also sharing borders (see) with Iran and Qatar. The total population of UAE was (in 2013) 9.2 million, Emirates citizens was 1.4 million and Expatriates were 7.8 million.
The country exist a Federal Supreme Council which is the highest legislative & Executive body. Each state is run by its own “Ruler” or “sheikh” who is the member of the FSC (Federal Supreme Council).
Each ruler of the state is a member who can make the president of United Arab Emirates. UAE contain Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm al Quwain, Dubai and Fujairah.
Arabic and Islam is the official language and Religion , capital of the country is Abu Dhabi.
Emirates ranked seventh in the oil reserves and in the natural gas reserves it is ranked 17th in the world.
First time Abu Dhabi starts exporting oil. The supreme leader of UAE and rulers of Abu Dhabi and also the pioneer president of Emirates Mr. Sheikh Zahid oversaw the development of his country and convert oil revenue into education, healthcare and specially infrastructure.
The GDP of UAE is ranked as 19th highest in the world. Dubai is the most popular state in the country and known as a global city and a gateway for business for west Asia and Africa.
Emirates got completes freedom in 1973 while before it was a place of foreigners rulers such as Portuguese ruled here from 1506 to 1620, Saudi Arabia ruled from 1744 to 1891 and in the last British ruled till the freedom. British came on 1892 and ruled till 1971.
The oil history of UAE starts from 1950, oil discovered in 1950s. The first oil company team carried survey in the beginning of 1960 and Abu Dhabi exported 1st crude of cargo in 1962. Dubai oil was came to the market in 1969, the ruler of Dubai (late) sheikh Rashid bin Saeed al Maktoom(Father of Sheikh Muhammad al Maktoom, the current ruler of Dubai) used the oil revenue on the improvement of life standard. Today UAE is a well-known place in the world; especially tourism and Trade are the main and known areas of this country.
Dubai is a known place for the world luxurious Hotels, world most tallest building (Burj Khalifa), Modern metro train (both inside the land and above the land), most busiest Airport and See port, flexible rules and regulation for foreigners and most advance infrastructure in the world.
Dubai got the expo 2020; means in 2020 there will be a huge worldwide business exhibition in Dubai-UAE. World traders Starts to come here for investment and it will become again a known world trade center in the world.
